Happy Haulidays with Chronicle Books!

Happy Haulidays
Book Collage Source: Chronicle Books

I absolutely love the holiday season. While it gets dark at 5pm around here, and that’s sort of depressing, I can’t help but feel happy. I love giving the ones I care about gifts and watch their reactions! Most importantly, I always love to help others out in some way, whether it be choosing a child to “adopt” and give them gifts for Christmas.

Chronicle Books is offering something amazing this year to one lucky blogger: up to $500 in books for the blogger, one of their readers AND a charity/library of their choice!

While I don’t read novels (high school honors classes ruined novel reading for me), I’m a huge fan of books that support my hobbies, which are mostly cooking/baking and crafts. So, here’s the list of books I would absolutely LOVE to have from Chronicle books. :-)

The Handy Household Helper

Apartment Therapy Presents: Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Real Design Solutions

Homeowner’s Record Keeper

Tartine Bread

Little Bits Quilting Bee

A Life in Stitches

Simple Sewing for Baby

Cake Pops

Cooking Up a Storm

Ruhlman’s Twenty

Craft, Inc.

1-2-3 Sew

Amy Butler’s Style Stitches

Amy Butler’s Little Stitches for Little Ones

Denyse Schmidt’s Quilts

One Line a Day: A Five Year Memory Book

The Liberty Book of Home Sewing

I know the chances of winning are slim, because so many people are entering this, but if I do win, one of you who comment on this post will win these books as well! Seriously awesome, right? So, if you like crafts and cooking/baking, just leave a comment for a chance to win (if I win). :-)

You have to leave a comment by December 2nd at 11:59pm (that’s when the Happy Haulidays contest ends!).

If I won, the place I’d love to donate some books to is my hometown library in St. Charles Parish. Since I’m from what may be considered somewhat of a small town, the library selection was not as expansive as my current library in a bigger town/city (unless something drastic changed in the last 5 years). So, I’d definitely love to donate $500 worth of books to them, since that library was the place where I learned to read and enjoyed books year after year. :-)

Wish me luck, y’all! Happy Haulidays!
